After much anticipation at 7am on the 21st Nov 2020, we finally set off. It was an early start, mainly as we were excited to get going. We have been packing and prepping for all week. I think it safe to say everyone was excited to leave (perhaps a little coaxing was required for Archie.)
Drip Gorge – Ulan
Our first stop on the way to Mudgee was the Drip Gorge and what a way to start! The kids had no idea what they were in for. After we go through the initial complaints I think you can see the kids had a great time. We ended up spending about and hour at the Drip. It was a hot day, so the cool rock and shady Gorge was perfect.
Our first night of accomodation was the Mudgee Showgrounds.
Herden Family Travels
